WORLD BOOK AND COPYRIGHT DAY, 23 APRIL

The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) celebrates the World Book and Copyright Day on April 23 each year.

The decision on the celebration was produced at the UNESCO General Conference held in Paris in 1995. It is a symbolic date in world literature because the distinguished writers Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare died on the 23rd of April in 1616.

The idea of UNESCO was absolutely to attract an interest and persuade everyone to read, especially the young population.

Sajić Consulting d.o.o. Banja Luka emphasizes intellectual creativity as one as the bearer of the development of every modern state, not only in the field of culture, but also in other fields. Of particular importance in legal systems represents the protection of intellectual property through copyright protection.
